4cute and functional but could be better constructedSep 24, 2008
We gave this to our newborn. She is now 15 months old. She likes it but it was never one of her favorite toys. We've never used the mp3 plug-in--not really any point to it. The tabs are not sensitive enough to be activated consistently. The mirror is a nice size. It does not stand up well on its own. Don't know what they mean by two heights--it's just a long strip of velcro that isn't sewn on in a way that makes it easy to stay at an angled position. On sale, it's a good buy.

5my girl really loves it.Jul 19, 2008
My 3 months old daughter really like the music and sound of it. Also, she enjoys watching the mirror.

4Good Baby MirrorJun 19, 2008
Can be used on the floor or in crib. I got it for tummy time with baby. He likes the animals and sounds. I have to press the button for him, acutally, it's hard for me to press. Still interesting to look at, and a mirror is a must for tummy time. He's 12 months now, and still can't reliably press the flaps for the animal's talking. Also, Tad was so cute, but he stopped talking after a handful of tries. So sad, because I think he's the only one that's easy to press. I don't have an MP3 player, so I haven't tried it that way.

5Great "tummy time" toy for young babies!May 13, 2008
I was having the hardest time getting my baby to enjoy his "tummy time" until I discovered this toy!
At 10 weeks old, my son enjoyed just laying on his tummy and looking at the brightly-colored tags while i pushed them for him. By 12 weeks old he started noticing the handsome baby in the mirror, too! And now, at 15 weeks old he is starting to push on the tags himself and is surprised when they make noises at him. Without this toy, my baby simply will not tolerate tummy time!

I do have a couple complaints, though:
1. There is no volume control on it; the sounds are very loud and hurt even my ears when we're laying close to it.
2. The tags are sometimes difficult to activate for ME, which means my infant son has a tough time doing it himself.
3. The velcro on the back needs to be longer so that it can be angled downward more so that my son can see more of himself in the mirror.

Other than that, it's a perfect toy, and despite it's shortcomings, it is still the best way I have found to make my son happy on his tummy! I even bought two more to give to friends who are having babies soon.

2Not all I had hoped forFeb 27, 2008
I bought this product looking for a floor mirror for my 3 mo. old daughter to play tummy time. Unfortunately the mirror is a little high off the floor so she can't actually see herself in it when she's on her tummy holding her head up. Also there is no volume control and the voices are a little loud and startling for her. I gave this 2 stars because it's colorful, and at least my 2 1/2 yr. old son likes to play with it. I think I will just go get a floor length mirror and prop it up horizontally against my entertainment unit like I did when my son was a baby. He loved that and it worked way better than this toy!
